"How to Control Anger"

Dear Readers,

Greetings of the day!

Today let me discuss with you a very simple, but complex word “Anger”. In this universe, who is the person who has not got angered or has not seen others angry? From the childhood onward, one has been seeing parents getting angered, teachers getting angered on petty things, but no one taught us how to control anger. The big question, you may ask me - why one should control anger? When one is angered, his/her Blood Pressure increases, heart beats go up and heart requires more blood. All these reactions affect our body physically and mind mentally. For a fraction of second, we are not able to control our thoughts and whatever comes, we do speak, without realizing how many bad words or thoughts have come to us. Before we hurt others, we ourselves have got hurt by our own words or our thoughts.

Before, I tell you very secretive and the easiest method of controlling anger, let me share with you a small story, which I had read when I was a primary school student.

One day Buddha was walking through a village. A very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him. "You have no right teaching others," he shouted. "You are as stupid as everyone else. You are nothing but a fake."

Buddha was not upset by these insults. Instead he asked the young man "Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom, the gift belongs?"

The man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, "It would belong to me, because I bought the gift." The Buddha smiled and said, "That is correct. And it is exactly the same with your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself."

"If you want to stop hurting yourself, you must get rid of your anger and become loving instead. When you hate others, you yourself become unhappy. But when you love others, everyone is happy."

Now these are the lessons:

If you are right then there is no need to get angry!!!

And if you are wrong then you don't have any right to get angry!!
Patience with family is love, Patience with others is respect,
Patience with self is confidence and Patience with GOD is faith.

Never Think Hard about the PAST, It brings Tears... Don't think more about FUTURE, It brings Fears... Live this Moment with a Smile.

To control anger, the secretive and the easiest way is that whenever you feel that a situation is arising or has arisen and you are going to lose temper, take deep breath three times with attention on both your hands and touching the first finger with tip of thumb. Count five and see the electrifying effect of this very secretive exercise. Do not forget to write me on this exercise.

May the happiness and blissful joy be with you!

With blessings!
