Wishes for Deepawali, the Festival of Lights

Dear Readers,

Greetings of the Day on the Occassion of Deepawali!

Are you aware that today is Deepawali, the festival of lights. Literaly, it means every one should light lamps, candles to remove darkness. However, spiritually it means, every one should light the lamp of Gnana (Knowledge) and fulfill himself/herself with love for all in his/her mind  and spread it to others to remove haterd, illeteracy, poverty, illness, enmity and greed. We should learn from the lamp that it burns itself to spread light. We should also do every thing possible to spread the love and happiness in and around us. I should not sleep peacefully, if my neighbour is hungry and does not have enough food to fill his/her belly.

Deepawali also reminds us of the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after an exile of 14 years and celeberations by the reasidents of Ayodhya. Now we should keep in our mind that the return of Rama is equal to return of good habits to our life. Every body from the child hood loves peace, happiness, bliss and respect! but how many of us do remeber this? We have to prode in our self to see whether we are not bitten by the darkness of the world? In this universe, on one side a few have millions and millions and is dumped in banks and in their lockers and in unknown countries, which is of no use either to them or to their near and dear ones. But on the other side, we have millions of people suffering from hunger and sickness, waiting for the death to come. No one is there to take care of these dying human beings.

On this Deepawali festival, the festival of lights let us take an oath that we will not waste a single penny and will spread lights to others and share our wellnesses with the needy ones.

May this Deepawali bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all of you in the coming days so that this universe can be a better living place for its inhabitants.

With blessings and best wishes!
